Sweet potato fries from the air fryer

Ingredients :
- 2 large sweet potatoes
- 1-2 tablespoons olive oil
- 1 teaspoon salt
- ½ teaspoon cayenne pepper (for spiciness, optional)
- ½ teaspoon paprika powder
- ½ teaspoon cinnamon (for a sweet note, optional)
- Freshly ground pepper to taste
Preparation :

Preparing the sweet potatoes : Wash and peel the sweet potatoes thoroughly. Cut into even sticks, about 1 cm thick.

Soaking : Soak the cut sweet potato sticks in cold water (about 30 minutes) to reduce starch and improve crispiness.

Drying : After soaking, drain the sweet potatoes and pat them dry.

Seasoning : In a bowl, mix the sweet potato sticks with olive oil, salt, cayenne pepper, paprika powder, cinnamon and pepper.

Preheat the air fryer : Preheat the air fryer to 200 °C.

Cooking : Place the sweet potato fries in the air fryer basket and cook for about 15-20 minutes. Shake the basket halfway through cooking to ensure even cooking.

Check and serve : The sweet potato fries are ready when they are golden brown and crispy. Enjoy them hot, perfect as a snack or as a side dish to many dishes!
